Sun, July 27 - Pray for Dongsheng District in the center of Ordos, a prefecture in southern Inner Mongolia Region: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dongsheng_District
I sent a team to Dongsheng once, on their way driving to Beijing. If my memory holds up, they distributed many Bible portions in and around the city. Pray for fruit!

Mon, July 28 - Pray for Dawukou in Shizuishan (“Sure-zoo’ay-shon”) Prefecture, in northern Ningxia Region: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dawukou,_Shizuishan
My only memory of Dawukou is that someone tried to sell me water at twice the normal price (b/c I was a foreigner), and I knew enough to “catch” them in the act lol.

Tue, July 29 - Pray for Aksu City in Aksu Prefecture, a large city on the far fringes of the Chinese empire in far west China’s Xinjiang, just a stone’s throw from Kyrgyzstan and the Heavenly Mountains at 24,000+ ft. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aksu_City
I visited Aksu in the summer of 2015, distributing a few Uyghur Bible portions and tracts under a heavy security presence, which has since only grown in that region.

Wed, July 30 - Pray for Biru County in Nagqu Prefecture in north-central Tibet, located at 13,000 ft. above sea-level: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Biru_County
Biru is 99% Tibetan despite Chinese efforts to “flood” Tibet with migrants. Casual visits by Westerners are forbidden and the vast majority have never heard the Gospel.

*Beginning in early 2024, I began working through each of China’s 31 provinces/regions once per month (on shorter months I skip a smaller, less-populated province), highlighting one new place per day, starting with the most populated in each province. More than a year later, I continue working my way down through each province’s prefecture/city list by population (greatest to least). The goal is to eventually pray for every prefecture, city, and county in China, the vast majority which the average western Christian has never even heard of.
