Wed, Aug 5 - Pray for Guanshan Lake District in Guiyang City, the capital of south-central China’s Guizhou Province: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Guanshanhu_District
We met with a missionary friend on Sunday who served for a season here in Guizhou Province, before moving to our “home” province in NW China with his young family. Later, after being forced out of China during the pandemic, they relocated to a key city in the Arab Muslim world, where they continue to serve to this day. Pray for them!

*Beginning in early 2024, I began working through each of China’s 31 provinces/regions once per month (on shorter months I skip a smaller, less-populated province), highlighting one new place per day, starting with the most populated in each province. More than two years later, I continue working my way down through each province’s prefecture/city list by population (greatest to least). The goal is to eventually pray for every prefecture, city, and county in China, the vast majority which the average western Christian has never even heard of.
